Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli is an American actor. She was born on April 23, 1960 [2. She first achieved recognition as an adolescent, portraying Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) in which she was awarded two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. The actress later gained stardom in the roles of Gloria in the Christian drama Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) and Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015) The latter gained her a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2012 she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli signed a new deal with Food Network in December 2021. The host has hosted numerous shows for Food Network such as Valerie's cook-in-the-home (2015-2023), and Kids Baking Championships (2015-present). This former received two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominations. Bertinelli has signed a contract for Food Network in December 2021. The actress was previously married to Eddie Van Halen, a rock musician, from 1981 until 2007. The couple has one son named Wolfgang. The couple was together for a time with Tom Vitale from 2011 to 2022.
